After reading about this new system and related problems I think that
what blamed on software has nothing to do with the baggage
distribution software.

If a luggage comes in it will most probably find its destination if no
outside interruption is applied to it.

What did happen is that in various places manual inspections/
interventions were required and there were not enough people to do
security checks.

The result was that pile up of luggage here and there along the route.

So as usual it is/was a user problem.

Or as is sometimes said that there was shit behind the keyboard.
