We do intend to write GUI code samples and publish them on the
APLWiki, our own web site and other places this year (just need to get
v12 out first, and as usual it is resisting our attempts to close the
lid on the box). But I did NOT envisage Dyalog publishing []NA calls
which are workarounds for what people perceive to be missing features
in our GUI. The main reason for this being that if WE publish them,
people will expect us to have verified that they have no bad side-
effects etc when used with our GUI, and I don't think we are able to
do that. It would be easier for us to add the missing functionality,
probably.

We WOULD be very interested in seeing the functions, as they will be
good inspiration for new features to add to the product (several such
functions HAVE been catalysts for new Dyalog GUI features in the
past).

So this is a good time to remember JFK: "Ask not what your APL Vendor
can do for you... etc".
