if I remember correctly (it has been more than ten years) you can easily
set any 
color on any button, untouched, before, after being pushed, anything.
There's a 
"colormap" which you can pick from e.g. the Clipboard, at your choice 16
colors, 
256 colors &c. I had an application with patterns of colors on each
buttons - 
only you need to know how to do it. (BTW I used Causeway, that was just
filling 
out tables - the famous EAT)
