Re: Virus in free application on my-symbian.com

by "My-Symbian" <nospam@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Oct 28, 2006 at 04:02 AM

1560 (one thousand five hundred sixty people) downloaded this application
from My-Symbian so far, and you are the only one who complains. Just
because
something went wrong with your memory card does not automatically mean
that
there is a virus in that program. There may be many other reasons of your
problems. One thing is 100% certain: that file DOES *NOT* CONTAIN ANY
VIRUS.
It's easy to check with any anti-virus software and you should do it PRIOR

TO posting such accusations.

Besides, My-Symbian is not author of the program. The application was
written by Wireless Labs Technologies. Why don't you contact them and
report
your problem instead of accusing My-Symbian for distributing infected
software? The email address of developer's customer support is:
support@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Small suggestion: Try starting the phone with the card removed and
only
insert your card when the system is up and running, go to App manager and
uninstall the application.

Cheers,
Michal Jerz
