- Make sure you have SP3 (or greater) for MS Visual Studio 6.
- Check the EPOCROOT and PATH environment variables.
- Try to build a test application using the command line tools (bldmake, =
abld) and fix any problem they show (something about point 2 usually)

BTW, why don't you try CodeWarrior?
