I have an application for taking inventory that runs on Symbol SPT
1500s. I have had some customer re****ts of fatal alerts which I could
not duplicate, however while working with a customer over several
days, it became apprent that the alert happened soon after hotsyncing
and cured the problem until the next hotsync. I had the customer try
doing a soft reset after hotsyncing and that seems to fix the problem.
The PDB file that contains the items to be counted is created on a PC
and saved in the palm install directory, so it is loaded during the
hotsync.
Any ideas would be greatly apreciated.
