you're absolutely right, you can still use Net 4.x and Net
7.2. You can continue to use them till the cows come home.
What I mean by their dead products is Netscape isn't
developing them anymore. They have many security problems,
and lots of problems with them. With SeaMonkey, SM has fixed
those security problems and has plugged those bugs.
For example, a hacker has sent you an email, and you're
still using those dead products, then he can gain certain
information about you, your computer, and possibly password
and other sensitive information. Whereas with SM, they've
plugged that hole.
