The bgsound tag is a Microsoft proprietary tag and will not work in
Mozilla browsers, or in anything other then IE. The correct way to
insert sound is with the obnject element:

Before proceeding, please realize that the use of background music is
rather controversial in web use. Some people love it, more hate it.
Many people may be listening to something other then the sounds produced
by a web site. Maybe an audio cd, an radio station via iTunes or
whatever, a s****ts event. The sudden entrace of sound from a website
may not be appreciated much by those people.
If you are going to add background music, it is only courteous to
provide a player console, allowing them to turn it off.
