The odd thing is that on my mainboard the disks are re****ted as:
CHS = 1024 * 255 * 63, whilst the SATA controller re****ts CHS = 1022 *
16 * 63 for its disk - this with the AH = 8 / int 0x13 call. 

Is that even a valid combination?
