Also good in my opinion: the OP didn't specify that follow-ups to the
initial post would go to only one of the groups.

I know some netiquette sites say it is a good thing to direct
follow-ups to only one of the groups.  But if I don't subscribe to the
group where the follow-ups go, then it can look like an unanswered
question to me.

The netiquette rule that I saw didn't suggest mentioning in the body
that all replies are going to only one of the groups.  That seems like
incomplete netiquette to me.

If the OP directs all follow-ups to a groups that I don't monitor and
that action is not announced in the body, then it seems at least
naughty (something less than evil, but possibly quite annoying)
because:
1.  I was curious enough about the subject to read the post
2.  I wouldn't be aware that any answers might be elsewhere unless I
took the special step to look at the headers
3.  Unless I notice the unexpected destination as I send a reply, it
appears to me that my reply was lost in cyberspace.
