Borland hasn't been out on their own as an independent developing company
except for some of their products. They have sup****ted MS in every way
possible thinking that what MS does is the money rule for the future.
They
have put the whole Delphi bandwagon on the .NET crapola; therefore all of
the developers that didn't want to go out into left field with .NET stayed
with older versions of Delphi and swung over to the PHP world and other
venues.
