Nope.  UQ as an "outsider" doing data analysis.  (A strange system 
too.  Students had "free" computer time [maybe some sort of allocation 
to "spend"] but had to pay for any hard copy output.  As an outsider, 
I had to pay for computer time, but got about a cwt of free line 
printer output!  By working late at night and submitting pseudo-batch 
jobs with zero priority [the system could emulate punch card input 
while actually reading from a file] I could get pretty cheap computing 
too. :-)

There was some sort of GEC machine at UQ towards the end of my time 
there as a student, but I never got to use it directly.  It was about 
10 years later that I was using the PDP-10, but I don't know when it 
was first installed.  JCU had the same sytem by the mid 70s, which was 
pretty convenient for anyone moving between BNE and TSV.
