I'll tell you for FREE!! If you have a Windows 2000 or Windows XP machine: 1. Go to "Administrative Tools/Services" on your startup menu. 2. Find a service called "Messenger" and right-click on it and select "Properties". 3. Near the bottom of this new window you'll see buttons that say: "Start", "Stop", "Pause" and "Resume", select "Stop" (this may the only one enabled anyway). 4. Just above these buttons, there's a dropdown box that may say: "Manual" or "Automatic", select "Disabled". 5. Click "OK" at the bottom and save yourself time and money.
