Well, the adventage of special graphics processing would be speed.

But my current algoritm is more or less suited for general compression.

So keeping the image bits sequential but just re-arranged would allow the 
general compression to take place.

Otherwise I would need to write special graphics compression and then that

could would be less re-usable :( ;)

Oh well.

Many ways to rome in this case hihi.
