3.4.3.1 The Overall Influence on Official Language
Facing with these results, on one hand, we should notice and keep in
mind that the cyberlanguage is indeed influencing our language at an
incredible speed. During less than 15 years, more than 139
cyberlanguages have been accepted by the Dictionary of Contem****ary
Chinese, becoming part of the standard Chinese, which can be spoken in
the official places and understood by all the Chinese. It is a great
honor for the cyberlanguages. In viewing of these different kinds of
cyberlanguages, we can see the explicit language planning is most
likely to accept the popular language of network, followed by the
lettered words, then the hardware words, and the last one is the
software words. According to these numbers, we can elicit the
governmental organization=92s attitude to different sorts of
cyberlanguages. To be exact, this kind of attitude results from the
great power from the rapid development of cyberlanguage, and the
increasing impact of it.
Accordingly, we have full reason to predict that, in the future, more
and more cyberlanguages will be widely used in the society, rather
than the netizens solely. Therefore, the Dictionary of Contem****ary
Chinese will suffer more pressure from the development of
cyberlanguage.
