Here's a better suggestion. Use robots.txt
<http://www.robotstxt.org/wc/exclusion.html>.
Most well behaved robots
will obey the exclusion protocol, although you might have to do something
a little special for Google
<http://www.google.com/webmasters/remove.html>.
