Which editor?

by "jeffc" <nobody@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Dec 14, 2004 at 11:08 AM

I've been jerking around with HTML for awhile, certainly not as part of my
profession as a software developer (I have not developed any web
applications or
web sites, just created my own little web site for pictures, resume, etc.)
 I'd
like a free editor that does WYSIWYG HTML editing. I used FrontPage, I
believe
it was, but for some reason I can't quite remember, I couldn't deal with
it
(something like I could not do certain things I wanted to, or couldn't
figure
out how, and then lost the ability to edit these things by hand, IIRC.)

I just saw Adrienne's response, to wit:

> Now, how to deal with it. First, get rid of FrontPage. I mean that,

HTML-Kit

and then go to W3Schools

and do the HTML and CSS tutorials.

Is this the recommended path for someone like me? Or is this editor not
WYSIWYG, but WYSIWYG is not really what I want after all? thanks
