ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
Below you will find a copy of an e-mail which I have just received from
BLUE FOX.
Several days ago, I posted a legitimate question, on several of the New
Groups, regarding how I might convert a picture of a logo from HTML code
to an actual jpg Graphic.
The logo just happened to say:
ARTHUR'S GAY WORLD
on it.
Since then I have received jokes and rude comments from various people
from the groups, and now, the straw that broke the camel's back, is the
e-mail below, which I cut and pasted below.
The biggest offenders have been:
RFDowneyJr@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
(The=A0Blue=A0Fox)
denisov@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
was the one that got the ball rolling, when he posted on a dozen
or more News Group Boards that my question or post was X Rated.
Neither person even ventured to supply an answer to my questions.
I'm limiting my remarks to the two gentleman above, as they were the
biggest violators of what I believe is the spirit of these groups.
I also think it's worth saying besides the fact that I'm a Gay Man and
Proud of it, I'd also like to point out a few other things.
Many of your sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, mothers, fathers and
friends, are Gay whether you realize it or not.
Part of the reason I have a Web Site Called:
ARTHUR'S GAY WORLD
is because I offer advice to a variety of people.
I get e-mail from all sorts of people from around the world:
From married men that want to leave their wives, young people who are
contemplating suicide, from Men & Women who were beaten up on the
street, for no other reason then for how they looked. This is just to
name a few.
I know that silence can be just as bad as those that speak out.
If you or the powers that be, approve of the behavior of these people,
then we do indeed live in a sick world.
If you believe that we live in a free society, where we all have equal
rights, then please don't be silent. It is almost impossible for me to
believe that there are still people that haven't learned a single thing
from the Holocaust.
When certain segments of society are weeded out as somehow being less
than the rest, you may find that tomorrow, that group may also consist
of you or someone you love.
Just imagine how different the response might have been had the logo
just read:
ARTHUR'S WORLD
But you know what, sometimes a Logo is just a logo except for those that
have hate in their hearts.
