VHF Coverage Added to Popular In-Building Wireless Antenna From Fractal

Systems, Inc. today announced the addition of VHF frequencies to its
popular Universal Access(TM: 103.74, -0.67, -0.64%) Ceiling Monopole
(UACM) Antenna. The UACM Antenna delivers wideband performance in one of
the most compact (11.8" by 4.6 inches) units available for distributed
antenna applications. For developers adding in-building wireless
systems, VHF coverage provides a key link to police, fire, EMT, and
security communications through its continuous operation from VHF into
C-band microwave frequencies. In addition, the UACM Antenna covers
cellular, WiFi, WiMAX and other high-speed wireless network bands.
With its light (1.5 lbs (665 g), compact fractal design, the UACM
Antenna is easily installed on typical ceiling panels. The Antenna's
wide frequency range protects in-building wireless infrastructure
investments by future-proofing the installation as new standards and
frequency allocations emerge. At higher elevations between the Antenna
