fullscreen color cycling via the alt-enter (dosbox) fullscreen mode. now to
get the cycles (dosbox) right so that the colorcycling is as smoov as it
used to be on my oldschool box.

it really wasn't too hard to manage once i knew the programs. the key was
to
put the fractint folder (with dosbox as a subfolder for easy
accessibility)
into the root directory run dosbox then type 'mount c c:\fractint' then
typed 'c:' to switch to c: hit alt-enter (to toggle dosbox fullscreen)
then
typed fractint to start the lovely stonesoup beast that sucked more of my
time than you can possibly imagine back in the 20th century. 1024x768
vga/vesa autodetect worked pretty good as a video mode. w00t! more than
that
actually w000h000h000h00000! i'm pretty darn happy about this. wee!
