I've never had this problem, but it has been re****ted over and over by
some 
users for years now. I have to think it has to do with their
configuration. 
There is a well known problem with Flash slowing FF to a crawl in some 
cases. Of course, they never say what OS they are running, or anything 
about their hardware.
