My guess is you don't know about projects.  This link *might* be helpful,

any event the buzz word I think you need is "project".  Notice the word in

your toolbar.

Feel free to write a very primitive test framework to learn the rudiments,

then throw it away and do your real problem.  You will have three files,
an 
..h file and two .cpp files.  One of the two .cpp files will have int
main() 
in it.
