When you mention fans, one thing I've noticed about this group that I like
is that it seems to be made up of people that love working with C and C++,
as opposed to people who do it because it's their job or it's their "duty"
to help others.  That means that long discussions can spin off from what
seems to be a simple question, but it's also the best environment to learn
in and to ask questions in because people want to discuss the topics
instead of just answering quickly and moving on.
