I just got back from a CF 8 launch event in Wa****ngton, DC. The guy,
whose name I should know because his face is right on the CF 8 page,
said that a list of fixed issues is in the CF 8 release notes.
I looked at the CF 8 release notes, the only release notes for CF 8
that I could find -- and I didn't think it was easy to find -- and
there is a huge list of known issues with CF 8 but no list of issues
fixed with the release of CF 8.
Does anyone know of a list of issues that have been fixed with the
release of CF 8?
I always thought that the quantity, quality and ease of access of
information and do***entation was one of the worst things about
ColdFusion. I'm hoping that this deal with the release notes isn't
indicative of Adobe's failure to improve upon those areas.
Also, one of the guys at the launch event said that he didn't see a
reason why the CF 8 admin console shouldn't be open-sourced. Do it,
Adobe!
