Does anyone know an Applescript to re-arrange/rename a files in a folder?
I have about a thousand pdf's that need to be renamed. Right now the
files are uniformly named along the lines of
xxxx01012004.pdf
where xxxx is text and 01012004 is the date of the do***ent contained in
the pdf.
I want to change the above file name to
xxxx20040101.pdf
essentially moving the year (2004) from the end of the file name to the
5th thru 8th characters of the file name.
Has anyone heard of such a script?
